BELGRADE (Serbia), December 14 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices rose, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,820 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2.7 million dinars. Aerodrom Nikola Tesla won 0.27% and closed at 1,475 dinars.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] led the blue-chip gainers' list on Thursday, as it won 4.25% and closed at 417 dinars. A total of 1,164 company shares were traded, generating a turnover of 469,598 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, increased 0.43% to 747.24 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index rose 0.04%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went up 0.14% on Thursday and closed at 1,628.70 points, after increasing 0.35% on Wednesday.
Agricultural chemicals producer Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] paced the blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade bourse on Thursday, as it lost 0.04% to 2,735 dinars. A total of 55 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 150,425 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 5.9 million dinars ($58,462/49,503 euro) on Thursday from 20.6 million dinars on Wednesday, as 245 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 454,327 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds generated 215 million dinars of the total turnover of 220.8 million dinars on the bourse.
